Convention: lowercase, hyphens not spaces. Standard mediums: cpc, email, social, paid-social, organic, referral, print, qr. Keep campaign name identical across every link in a campaign so reports don't fragment.
These tags are read automatically by GA4, and (on the new site) captured into the contact & demo forms so each lead carries its source.
